    Hi,

I've now stripped my KMX engine which wouldn't start after I got it
back from the theiving scum who nicked it.

The top ring is broken with 2cm missing and the piston definitly
    knackered.

Obviously I need a new piston which looks like £30 on ebay. But what
about the barrel? The broken ring has obviously got trapped in the
exhaust port. The score mark is deep enough to be able to feel, but it
doesn't go all the way to the top of the barrel. It's nikasil plated
so I know it's not easy to fix. Might I get away with it or does it
definitely need fixing? And if so, where would I get that done - do I
take it to my local bike fixer or can I post it somewhere myself and
miss out the middle man? And how much is it likely to cost?

I'm hoping it caused the engine to seize instantly, causing the scummy
twat to crash and fall under a bus... Hmm, I feel better now.

    Cheers
    Steve
