Has the footage been uploaded anywhere yet?

enjoyed reading the thread - laughed alot. reminded me of a time when
myself and a friend went from Whittlesea up the hill towards kinglake
(that great brand new double lane road) - average speed was probably
about 150 - then at the top had to slow right down due to
gravel/roadworks. and theres the law right on our arse. he listed
about 10 offences ranging from overtaking on doubles, overtaking the bus
in the town at about high speed, not indicating, constantly changing
from lanes all the way up the hill to get the most out of the corners
    (**** I love that road)

The cop gave us a warning and $110 fine for double lines only. Said he
normally works the area on Friday arvos, so be careful during this time.
We asked him if we could take a digital photo of us receiving the
fine, and he let us (provided we didn't put it on the net ;0) Although i
was $110 out of pocket, I felt like i'd won the lottery.

as this may sound irresponsible, it was actually quite a safe ride as
there was (surprisingly) very little traffic. I think he would have
enjoyed thrashing his SS up the hill too.

Hell, even I know that stretch of road, tho its rather a bore on the postie,
managing 60km/hr up the hill where the overtaking lane is!

I'm a uni student for whom $4 a week in petrol is very suitable...
None the less, living in the northern suburbs, I like breathing fresh air
and often head up through whittlesea to kinglake and beyond. Trust me, the
twisty road from Kinglake to Hurstbridge is more than enough fun on a
    postie!

    Cheers,

    More than enough fun ?

    Does not exist.

Fun is addictive and leads to a desire for more and faster fun.

And hence, in most states of Oz, it is illegal. :-|

    Yup!

...and being legal is neat too! ;-)

LOL..Nev by the sounds of it you're a hero already. Leave the footpegs on
FFS. Why the hell did you take them off in the first place? I thought the
lower fairing would scratch with the footpegs on anyway. Was I wrong in
    thinking that?

    :/

lol...i understand Adrian. I prolly would of done the same if i was in the
same predictament as you (maybe). But once ya got a big bike ya cant go
back. To be honest though, i never put more than $15 in mine, and compared
to yours that = 3x the money for 10x the power 'aproximately'. So i'm
really getting more worth out of mine than what you are with yours i guess.
