Look out for that narrow strip of red tarmac - it takes pleasure in
pain. It's a cyclepath.

 

Big Nick has a stingray skin wallet. He can't get it out of his
pocket, apparently. Grips cotton very well, allegedly. It certainly
grips tenners - I've not seen one get away yet.

 

Same here. It was a major step forward to shell out for a full Rukka
wet-weather kit, but it was worth it. The jacket fell apart after a
hundred thousand miles, but I can't complain, as it was used all year
round as a general riding jacket. Still got the bib'n brace leggings
though, and with any luck I'll fit back into them soon.

 

You only really just missed it by a couple of weeks, iirc.
I think it may be back in a few or six months.

Yep. I checked my local Aldi and managed to nab the last pair of gloves
(that handily were the right size). They had one pair of boots too but my
luck ran out at that point.

Yeah, there was a scum element even back then, but I lived well outside
the village so didn't encounter them much.
