Even when he screws up it just offers him an opportunity to shine further.
Excellent recovery! He made the rest of the pack look as if they were
    standing still.

Determined performance by Tamada. From the start they said it was podium or
bust for him and they were right. Hard luck for Gibernau.

    Can't wait for Sepang.

I really don't believe Rossi will leave Honda for Yamaha unless he's already
ridden the 04-05 Yamaha and knows something we don't. Even Tamada's
relatively underpowered Honda on Bridgestones out-performed the Yamaha.

Looking forward to seeing Bayliss go at Phillip Island.

On another note - I noticed BBC2 were showing the race live as well but I
preferred the Eurosport commentary especially Randy Mamola's contributions.

Well, if you look at what Schumaker did with Ferrari, maybe that's his
motivation? Go to an uncompetitive bike, get it competitive and show his
talent in isolation of the bike?

I doubt it though, not because I know anything about Rossi, but because
he's young enough to want to win in the short term rather than take on a
challenge that would take a few of years to deliver results.

I'd agree with that. Many people, well, journalists so possibly not people as we
know them, are commenting that Rossi has always won on the best bike - from the
Aprilia 250, the NSR and now the V5. Maybe he will decide to go to Yamaha and,
as you say, make it win.

Whatever, it'd be fun to watch.

Dave Wood, you mean? Yeah, that was a shame, but he's still won the
    privateers cup, IIRC.

He looked fine. There was a small collision between two bikes on the
last corner and he sort of laid it down on the track. He was straight
up, picked it up and rode on.

I think his pride was hurt.
