Photos aren't the best - and I may be completely wrong, but something
doesn't seem quite right about it.

 

Hmmm, thought the paint wasn't right - but it appears it is (no decals
on side panels).

Lovely looking thing, but that's one hell of a price.

 

Yeah, thought there was sign of paintwork on it - but I have checked and
it's right for the year / spec.

Wish mine was that tidy - but it appears to be jinxed - need to have a
look at the starter motor soon, as it's struggling to engage properly
after the hassles with the black box. [1]

But I do have a set of Keihan silencers on their way - snapped 'up a
used pair on eBay a couple of days ago.

[1] Strangely, a part shared with several Peugeots / Renaults in the
late 80s / early 90s.... available for pennies (almost) from any
scrappy.

 

What's the pipe running from the airbox under the carb? Not seen that before

 

Assuming it is actually from the bottom of the airbox, all I can think
is that it might be an oil drain back to the sump.

 

A good clean one is going to sell for 2.5k so a little over 3 for something
like that doesn't seem too bad.
