I've just discovered that I can't do killfiles in Netscape.

I don't maintain much of a killfile, but did have a samll one in OE.
I've been noticing the odd post creep through and thought I'd look into
    it. :-(

No. I can do Tools > Messge Filters, but it only seems to want to do
    filters for e-mail, not usenet.

7.1 has just let me put a filter on a newsgroup. I can do the usual
things based on a limited set of fields (most usefully Sender, natch).

    Tools|Message Filters...
The drop combo probably has an email account or two, and any news
servers after that, with a submenu for the newsgroups. It doesn't
appear to allow global (i.e. applicable to all groups) filters,
    though.

    Ah, I'm running 7.02. I thought I'd upgraded to 7.1.

Hold on, I did. I think I must ahve uninstalled it when the PC was
    playing up.

Now I have a task for the evening.

The problem is I'm a bit lazy and like just having to open one
application to sort my e-mails out and read usenet.
