Kicking ass

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Power Grainger, Sep 17, 2003.

  1. Had an excellent ride to work, felt *so* much more confident going
round corners and generally maneouvering the bike around. The weekend
has done wonders for me. Also feel less like a car driver, and so when
the taxi pulled out in front of me (giving me plenty of room to slow
down for it) I thought 'sod you' and just zoomed round him. ;o)

Then just kept the throttle open past lots of cars 'parked up' on the
bridge, using a handy little 'bike lane' that they have created
(cross-hatches) keeping an eye out for people letting other cars out
    across them at the hotel.

I'm almost starting to wish I lived further away from work.

So, thanks for all the people who have been patient enough either on
here or at the weekend to give me pointers on how to get better. Your
comments and support are muchly appreciated.

And since it is well known that pride comes before a fall, I will now
go and hide under a table for the rest of the day ;o)

Has anyone noticed how smooth and power the bike feels, right up until
the point where is throws a rod or something.

My old VF750 did that; went like a rocket!
