Kerik's not the Man

Bernard Kerick, with all his glory, and NYC credentials, didn't last but
a few days, as the newly appointed ''Nat'l Homeland Security Sec''.
After he was exposed, for what he is, a corrupt Leader of the NYC Police
Dept. The issue, to me, is what the heck is going on in Bush's
administration, that he wasnt informed.
It only took the Media about 3 days, to find out that Kerick, 49, has a
rash of
professional and personal improprieties. In other words, he is an
aduturer, a crook, and has some kind of business with the NY
Mobs.....and our President, apparantly didnt ask enough questions, or he
might have saved his self another embarrasment. I think Bush was
arrogent in that he thinks, he can push anything through, because he was
elected to a second term. Pitiful.......just plain pitiful.

it's been well known for a long time that the garbage pickup in NYC is
Mob controlled, and many of the police are on the take. This goes back
to Prohibition and before. The street cops nor the upper ranks of NYPD
aren't stupid and won't go against an ingrained system. San Antonio is
hardly the same as NYC in that regard.
