    Exactly. I was really pissed off.
    Proper on the edge eccentric. I may pick up a Fortean Times to see if

    Silly me!

    I've glanced at the obit now, and I don't recognise him from the pic
    nor does any of the info given actually ring any bells.

    He did die on my birthday mind, which puts him in such illustrious
    company as Princess Di.

    It's not mentioned there, but ISTR he was a crusader for adult
    numeracy skills as well. Didn't know he'd popped his clogs, but I'd
    love to have seen him as The Doctor, he'd have made a bloody good one.
