Has anyone here tried the new kebab flavour Pot Noodles yet? They sound well nice!
I guess no one has tried them yet then? I think the advert's funny. The sausage with a pen bit makes me LOL!
They what? Your food based experiences must be fucking dire if you think anything "Pot Noodley" sounds "well nice". -- Beav VN 750 Zed 1000 OMF# 19
Depends. You have just got back to your tent, you are tired, cold, hungry and don't have many facilities outside a stove and kettle they are (ignoring the 'not very good for you') quick, hot, fairly filling, warm yer hands and there's no washing up. Well nice. ;-) They are also pretty light and easy to stow on a bike, need no tools to open and last quite a while (when accidentally left in yer camping bag for a couple of years). But certainly not up there with camping bacon and eggs that's for sure! T i m p.s. But I think I have discovered I'm a 'super taster' so they might taste completely different to you.
The only time I tent is at Chimay, and I generally roll back to my tent completely off my face on Chimay Bleu and Rouge. That's true. But I believe the Platy CamperWagon support vehicle isn't going to Chimay this year, so looks like we'll be roughing it again. Paul.
Supernoodles are the thing. Same great taste, same superb nutrition but cheaper and easier to pack. The staple food of Elefant men. If you don't have hot water, use piss instead - you won't notice any difference in flavour. Yes, you'll be denied the luxury of teenagers this year - the sprog is a penurious student and no longer insured on the hideous jitney.
Speaking of relatives: the F-i-L has made noises about coming along this year. I'd better find out if he's serious.
Heh! Unfortunately, the F-i-L's attendance would mean turning up in the car, so the S-i-L wouldn't be wearing leathers, especially not those red ones.
Tiger Tiger cup noodles are a much better alternative. Pot noodles two for a quid in Asda at the moment.
Are you totally deranged ? Breakfast is either a bottle of Chimay, that has been nicely chilled overnight, or a swift evacuation at Madame's followed by several coffee's and a croissant. Or both Paul.
Oh, sure. Anyway, I'll be seeing her next weekend; I'll tell her you've invited her, that'll be sure to convince her.
