kawi 3 peice laminated head gasket modification/cheese sandwiches

    The kawi 3 peice head gaskets are like a cheese sandwich: one lump of
    cheese 0.4mm and two bits of bread either side 0.2mm each compressed.

    Has anyone tried adding an extra adding an extra bit of cheese to the
    centre
    ie ,making a 0.4mm thicker head gasket . Would some pickle be in
    order to seal the two centres?

    bike is a tuned 85 gpz550.

    is this desirable???

    On a heavily skimmed head yes and maybe better than adding an extra base gasket.


    Will you be adding mayonnaise?

    some thin sealant probably,
