Ah, the good old "Swedish chemist" joke. They don't write em like
    that anymore.

There are reasons for that, apparently. It won't stop the likes of
    flash trying, mind.

I just got a reply from Akrapovic...
They admitted that scale is wrong. Max power torque is appr. 75 Nm. They say
they will update data soon. I'll keep the track

But even so, torque is quite bigger than fazer600 - at last, it does have
    150 ccm more...

Horses for courses really, personally I wish they'd made them when I
    bought the SV.

Also as a commuter or cheap tourer I think they'd do a good job, I
wonder if anyone has hard lugage racks available yet.

Does the S model have different instruments, then? The Z750 and Z1000
both use the same LCD unit from the ZX-6R. It took me a little while to
get used to it but I find it fairly clear now, and I haven't had any
    problem with glare.

I just thought exactly the same thing. Mind you I thought the same thing
about the SV1000 I had a sit on on Tuesday night as well.

Instrument panel is the same as Ninja ZX-10R and LED taillight and turn
signals are same as Ninja ZX 6RR.
The problem at fazer is lcd tachometer - when sun lights from backwards of
you to LCD, you see nothing.

I agree it appears to be a good package; I just don't like the looks.

The tail unit's taken from the ZX-6R, so there's a good chance anything
    for that would fit.

Givi only do a Monorack for the Z750, not the Wingrack - same as for the
Z1000, which might have put me off buying one eventually.

If you're so much as contemplating putting luggage on a Z1000, it's the
    wrong bike.

Interesting---before fazer, i've had Majesty 250 scooter, which does have a
lot of space for luggage under the seat. But, i don't miss it too much...if
i want to carry some, i just take 'rucksack' with me (did i write correct?)
it's quite enought for short trips, and i don't go to long ones.
