Subject should really be sci-fi series Babylon 5 episode titled "Eyes"
contains a reference to a Kawasaki Ninja ZX11 vintage 1992.

Not in itself noteworthy or even interesting

What I found amusing was an alien researching said bike and coming up
with the following snippet:-

In popular earth culture the motorcycle was often seen as a symbol of
independence of spirit, freedom, sexual prowess and rebellion.

Made me smile.

 

In uk.rec.motorcycles, Donald belched forth and ejected the following:

Well I've got two of those and not necessarily all at once!

 

More than a reference, it gets rebuilt (much to Garibaldi's dismay)

"Behold. The Ninja ZX-11."
"What have you done?"
"You are not pleased?"
"I said you could work on it a little, not .. finish it."
"I do not understand."
"I wanted to build it myself. It was kind of a purpose in my life. Now
it's .. done."

Unless you're a B5 fan.

Made me list various UKRMers when I rewatched it.

 

Or as we would know it, a ZZ-R1100C3, I believe. I remember the
episode; I want a Minbari power unit...
