Kawasaki Gear Shifter

    I bought a 1998 Vulcan 750 from a dealer. The gear shifter had been replaced
    and was "new".
    It was sold without a warranty. It is difficult the shift, especially in
    lower gears.
    If I go exactly a certain speed or hold the clutch in a certain way, it
    seems easier.
    But is does not shift the way it should. Any suggestions to make it better
    without
    redoing the entire thing?
