You don't remember Dave at the Wintersun? Oh, no, you wouldn't remember
    much about that year.

5th-6th March. 19th Cold Flame NSW. North side of the Barry Way,
where the Pinch and Snowy rivers meet. Cold Flame Tourers

I drove through there last month. A lot of the Vic side had been
graded. very rough. Would not relish a ride through some of that.
Much of the country was devastated by the fires of '03. The area at the
junction of the Pinch and Snowy does look kinda nice.

    I'd guess at 250km outbound, 200km inbound?

  9. Finally finished all the bridges on the Lions Road,eh?
I had to detour west to Woodenbong when I visited you last year because the
    whole bloody road was closed...

I went through Clarence Town-Maitland-Cessnock-Wollombi-Old Road on the way
    home.
Dragged on the waterproof dacks early on when it started raining, but there
was only scattered drizzle several times.
Saw Johnnie5 at Mt White (and a bunch of Oz Adventure Riders that I missed
    at the rally).

    AIGOR's website says:

    | 5th-6th March. 19th Cold Flame
    | NSW. North side of the Barry Way, where the Pinch and Snowy rivers meet.
    | Cold Flame Tourers Hal Caston 02 6247 6804
    | $10. Back to basics, BYO the lot. Water and toilet available on site.
    | Lots of dirt to get there. A really good gathering.

The 'lots of dirt' is lots of distance, not lots of difficulty ...
I should be there -- I said I'd be there!

We looked for you Stuart but there was only 3 Transalps and they were all
"known" so we decided you weren't present.
(It was a committee decision ratified in the usual way with much
    drinking....)
