Karma?

The boychic did a job a while ago for another garage and never got paid for
it. Garage owner has a bit of a reputation (we discovered after the event)
so we chalked it up to experience and "filed it".

Then said garage owner does a CIHAGM with a pal, but the pal's bike was a
courtesy bike he got from his dealer when his own bike went in for repairs
(don't you just KNOW what's coming next?)

His pal overcooks things slightly and lofts a nice little high side,
subsequently makes a pig's ear of the bike to the tune of a write-off.

    And he's fucking skint.

Just to clarify, you mean the garage owner who's a twat is that one who
mashed the bike, which was one his mate had as a courtesy bike? It was
just, you started with 'his pal' on the binned it paragraph, and it didn't
seem that there was any dislike for his random mate heh.
The garage owner again? Yup, that's some nice karma hehe :)

You could help him out by him letting fix your car :)

  5. Nice... something which maybe could, given dealer insurance excesses,
have only have been made better if said idiot mate managed to take out
the courtesy bike as well as part of the lob. ;-)

What do you know about helicopters? They crash well.

I was of the impression it was the courtesy bike that got crashed?

On re-reading it, *I* lost track too:) It's not the garage owner who's
skint, it's his pal, but the result is the owner has a dead bike and no way
to get it back on the road this side of next summer.

And hasn't this weekend been pure magic for riding ?

That wouldn't have been karma, that would've been pure genius. And piss
    funny to boot.

Confused? You will be after this episode of "Soap".

Not the courtesy bike, the one owned by the garage bloke. Lent to his pal
    who lobbed it without insurance.

    Esky cp2[1]
Work got it for me as a '**** off and don't come back' gift.

It'll do inverted, so it says. I've been happily crashing into that tree
in FMS for the last few days.
If 'hover' includes a 40ft radius to remain in, I can do tail in. Nose
in just makes me giggle, and I can do some fucking awesome 3D stuff so
long as I start off at about 1500 ft :D

I've buzzed the real thing across the living room (wood) floor, and it
does seem to be trimmed out. I'm not going to try lifting it off the
ground for real for a while though.

I found some guys flying things behind the prison in Hammersmith, they
swore by Phoenix, but I can't really spare the pennies for that. Anyway,
I've posted on rec.models.rc.helicopter about sim woes.

I've got a Trex 450, metal head, tail, carbon blades, 11.1v lithium
power, 2.4 Ghz radio, heading lock gyro. I love good electric helis. Bit
too big and scary[1] to fly indoors though. :)

My Lama clone is better for flying round the kitchen.

Seeing as you didn't buy it, it's acceptable :)

In my inventory of copters, I've got a Trex 450 with all the ally bits and
bobs. Works OK so long as the head speed is above 2400. Below that and it's
    crap.

    Where/how often do you fly?
I'm probably going to skulk over to the local flying field on Saturday,
weather permitting, and try and put some blokes off their flying.
