Presumably the quality of a weld can only be tested either by loading it (to failure?) , cutting through it for a visual inspection , or by using ultrasonics/x-ray so there isn't going to be an easy way for a dealer to test if a bike is safe or not? Well let's see if there's a recall. Admittedly that may be an exception, but bloody 'ell. I wouldn't want it to fall apart whilst I was riding it. Not that I'd get up to 100mph anyway.
