K1 Bandit 12 Indicator connectors.

  1. See the following link to images of an electrical connector from the
    rear indicator of a K1 Bandit 12.

    http://www.photobox.co.uk/album/3149207

    Dimensions: 20mm long x 6mm x 6mm.

I want to make an 'extender' cable for it with one connector male end
and one female connector end joined by wire.

To do that I need to know what kind of connector is it [1] and where
can I get the little buggers.

Main dealer can't help, but I reckon UKRM can.

Ironic answers ending with HTH will are welcome.

    TIA.

[1] What do I ask for?

  2. Looks like it might be something BMW had knocked up themselves.
Scrappy might be the best supply of those.

Failing that, just replace it with more conventional connectors and your
    extension to suit.

I'd be surprised, but you never know.

  4. Wow. The first time UKRM has _ever_ let me down on something that
mattered. I though within an hour someone would have had a part number.

  5. Yeah, me too. I can't believe Suzuki make specific suzuki connectors,
but without knowing what they are I'm gonna struggle.
Luckily I can manage without but it'll be loads easier if I can extend
the cables with the original connectors.
