Didn't have far to go or much to do, but, I just couldn't resist..
It's such a pretty day out here.. I unwrapped the Green One
and mounted up.. The contrary bitch has been pouting under
that cover for so long, it was teaching me a lesson and farted
back at me a couple of times before that little V-Twin cranked..

After a few minutes of coughing up stale gas and such.. that
sucker smoothed out and commenced to rumble.. After just
a few miles on IH 30 .. the little cruiser was running strong and
    smooth..

On this pretty day, there were quite few motorcycles out and
about.. Everyone that was on the road sure seemed to be en-
joying to the max.. That included me ..

Well.. I ran this Green Vulcan out pretty good and that little
thing was kicking 90 mph all over the place.. Whoo Hoo..

By the time we got to 360 .. this puppy was rumbling like a
hungry lion and I kicked it in the ass again.. when we straight-
ened out on 360.. a couple of guys ran up, gave me a thumbs
up and breezed by me.. Just a little distracted, I rolled on that
throttle a bit and trailed them on over to 183 headed back to-
ward Irving.. Those guys were hauling ass and having a ball..
I was hanging on and enjoying the ride so much that I missed
my original turn off exit.. I had to follow them to the MacArthur
exit where I headed back south to LaCasa.. When I slowed
for my exit and was on the ramp.. the last thing I saw was
those two bikers with their arms straight up in the air, waving
    at me..

You know.. that's a simple thing and not of much interest to
anyone.. sure made me feel good on such a lovely day.. I
hope everyone experiences days like this when they ride..
Just goes to show you.. it's not only the long and advent-
urous rides that are enjoyable.. Just an hour two on the
road in your own zip code can be one helluva turn on..

    Ya'll have a good day

You and Gary Walker have got grooves in the pavement, going to and
from Kellers on Northwest Hwy.. Besides.. when we do get you on a ride
I've bragged on you a lot.. Me nor anyone else better get in front of you
when you start for the house.. You do your best motorcycle handling, then..

    hmmm... That's something, ain't it ?

I think that's my line. But you can use it. <g>

Now that the weather will be getting cool(when?), and
I get the bike back, I may be adventurous enough to
go somewhere close. Like Plano. <ggg> Nah, just
kidding. I think I still need a tire, but after I'm comfort-
able with the bike's maintenance status, I might can go
    a little further.

I'm always hesitant to commit. So many interruptions
    can occur.

Gotta watch that Big Ed all the time Mr. Anonymous.. he's even
starting to use aliases and shit on usenet.. Next time you run into
him at the water hole, he maybe calling himself something new..
    Confusing, huh ?
