    Lovely for you.

    Went to Silverstone last week-end.
A few Zx10 in superbike and superstocks.
    Getting overtaken mostly.
By fireblades and R1s and Gixxers.
There's a lot better stuff to be bought - leave clit bikes to power rangers.

    Because every cnut got them.

However what he fails to grasp is that people who can actually ride them
might like the dynamics of the bike. To be honest, I don't really care if
PR's etc have them. If I like it I get it. Get it?

Really? I know of one that does quite well in the MRO Powerbikes class.

I think he's also failing to grasp that they might be so ubiquitous
because they're so good. Why not own one of the best motorcycles in the
world if you can afford it? You'd be stupid not to.

Indeed, they are quite useful tools. IMO, Kawasaki sportsbikes have always
had superb handling and almost a match for anything on the track.

It's why I chose the Daytona instead of the Gixer, because it's not a
    race bike for the road.
    Steady on, old boy.

Have you tried the K5/6 gixxer yet Molly, it's got all the wicked bits of a
gixxer thou (read: stonking engine) and all the flickability of the current
    generation of litre mental machines[1]

[1] And loads more low down grunt than the 10R )

PS You're more than welcome to take mine for a spin if we are ever in the
    same postcode

Bloody low seat height too, even a stumpy legged mong like me can flat
foot them. I'd say the seat height is about an inch and a half lower
    than my K1 was.

You would only ever see them ridden by wimmin... we would never be able to
    find the starter button
