    For SOB, now in peices CX that I bought with no tax on.

    How do you SORN a vehicle then?

    in theory you cant, If you tax it, its recorded and the SORN
    automatically removed. To sorn it you have to surrender the tax disk
    (IIRC).

    Of course it all depends on the DVLA software/operator

    Insurance and MOT. At the moment people are a bit lax about the v5 when
    selling. They'll now get hit with fines if it's still in their name and
    not taxed by the buyer.
