I'd be interested to know, purely in the interest of scientific enquiry,
how one determines that an urban myth is bullshit.

I mean, for unlikely deaths & that, I accept the Darwin Awards site as
pretty authoritative. But for stuff like this, it's damn hard to
*dis*prove something. Easy to prove, if it happened, of course.

When I see someone repeating an urban myth as something that happened to
*them*, that's when my Bullshit-0-Matic needle bumps the stop, of
course.

Apparently, lobbing on an Akrapovic system yields an "instant" 15 or
16 ponies.

Martin's (with akky and Powercommander suitably tweaked) makes the
thick end of 160.

It's going back in a couple of weeks to see how much damage the
Promotives make.
