Ho Yus, 2 strokes are fun, but 4 strokes are on the list for next season.

Cheers, I can feel the difference already when I'm riding.
This weekend I was jumping higher than ever.

Ah good, I've always had a not so irrational phobia to 2 strokes since I
spent so long skinning my knuckle on one made by Suzuki aged 14.

Nice picture, well the half of it that's taken an hour to download.

    * another hour later*

I would have thought that you getting airborne defied the laws of
    physics ;-)

Don't get me wrong, I love 2 strokes.
Its just that while I'm waiting for the power to kick in the 4 strokes have
    buggered off.
Then the power kicks in and wheel spins, then the four strokes grip and
    bugger off.
Then when I'm cornering I can't really power round the corner as the
delivery is too harsh, oh and the four strokes just bugger off.

    Can you see a theme?

Me too, but that really is the biggest **** off jump in the world.

    http://www.englishgolfer.com/canada3.jpg

And the run up to it is down hill. So even if you shut off at the top of the
hill you're carrying enough speed to jump off it!

Ah yes, when I'm in a position to get a bike out here [1] it'll
definitely be a 4 stroke single either 4 or 6 hundred cc, I was planing
to go supermoto but seeing your picture has reawakened child hood
memory's of riding round the farm and one corner in particular, it was
long and sweeping with an adverse camber topped in the finest Sussex
clay, the corner loosened up on you but the ground dropped away meaning
you couldn't go round it that fast, the challenge was to stay out of the
hedge, you could get the back end waaay out there, maybe if I can find a
dirt track in the aria I'll leave the knobblys on, who knows.

Get a 4, a 6 will be too big for any serious off roading.
This is something my uncle is finding out, he bought a CCM 604E
and he's yet to find what its good for.

I wouldn't mind having a go at that but my bones would probably object
as would other parts of my anatomy.
