    Her name is Judy.

    She's a septic judge

    She has a 'show'

It is the viewing equivalent of wanking with a handful of razorblades.

But only of you don't find that fun.

In all fairness, we had to pay you back for sending the teletubbies over
    here.

You would think that one show like that would be enough - but no,
there's 5 or 6 of the fucking things on tele here. Arrrgh.

  5. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
Judge Joe Brown or somesuch, is another one that's being aired here.
It's always the same; a successful (spit) format is aped by the
talentless bums till it's done to death.

Bit voting Bush back in was a little too far, don't you think?

Why do you think they insist you keep it connected to the phone? It
reports back on everything you watch via their service. Spyware as
    standard...

    DR says...
Really? When I had Sky (about 3 years ago) it was never connected to
the phone. No-one ever complained about that, neither did the
    decoder box.

  12. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
It only gets annoyed if you've bought the subsidised box and left it
disconnected. Afair, the lack of feedback from your box eventually wakes
up a clue machine back at Sky and they might send you a letter. Nobody
seems to have any bother with it though.

  13. they not only send you a letter they bump your payment up too.

I kept getting these letters and I ignored them for a while as they
were both connected to the phone but mentioned it one time when I rang
    them about something else.

what was fecking the system up was the fact we have our phone number
hidden so they werent getting call backs. they told me how to fix this
    and everything was ok.

until i got the next bill where they'd charged me double for my extra
subscription so i phoned them and gave them shit and they credited the
    account.

Which reminds me - I never got round to changing my subscription to
your new address, and I don't think I'll bother, so you won't be
getting any more mail for me.

  17. that's what I'd done in the past and hence why I ignored the letters
for getting on six months. maybe the difference is that we have a 2nd
    multiroom box for a £10 / month.

What if the new occupiers start returning stuff addressed to him, saying

I'd find out if/when the old one stops working, then contact them with
new UK address details. But they don't normally replace and issue new
cards for no reason, do they?

    Ace, Feb 11, 2005

  20. yep, every couple of years they replace the cards.
