  9. Ah, fair enough. It was a vague attempt at humour,
hampered by a complete lack of knowledge about racing
    bits.

    Don't beat yourself up :)

However, when you come down to it, you realise that a motorcycle is
quite a simpel thing - engine, frame, suspension, wheels, brakes, and
a few anciallaries. The things that are actually original Kawasaki on
my bike amount to little more than the engine and frame now.

so, what you're saying is that the less Kawasaki a bike is, the better
    it is, yes?

Yersh. If only one could have a whole bike made by Spondon, Dymag,
Ohlins, Maxton, Harris, KAD, QBCarbon, EBC, Keihin, Nigel Eaton....

    Brakes. Like this : http://www.kad-uk.com/topcycle.htm

They fit the original forks, and take original fitment pads. And
weigh approx half what the standard ones do.

    Previously on ukrm, Champ said...
KAD used to make a twin-cam 16 valve cylinder head conversion for the
BMC/BL A series (Mini) engine. I drove a mates Mini pick-up with one of
these engines fuelled by a Weber-Alpha injection set up, on an A+ Metro
block bored to 1380cc using Triumph 2000 pistons. It was fucking evilly
quick, in a FUUUUUUCK MEEEEEE stylee. 140 odd BHP through 10 inch front
wheels and Yokohama A008R tyres was a trifle difficult to control when
the power came in. Nick reckoned he could shred a set of front tyres in
less than 2000 miles easily. They made a rather nice rear disc
conversion for Minis too, using Kawasaki AR80 front calipers IIRC and
    their own hubs/discs.
