    Hi all,

I'm heading to the Jerez round of the MotoGP this year, all the
travel/accommodation/transport arrangements for a trip are sorted, which
just leaves the tickets for the Saturday and Sunday.

Does anyone have any experience or advice on purchasing tickets for the
    MotoGP at Jerez?

I've checked the official web site
http://www.circuitodejerez.com/en/entradas.cfm but I'm still a bit in the
    dark.

Is it like Donnington where you can turn up on the day (Sat and or Sunday)
and just buy tickets there and then, or is it best to pre-purchase?
It looks like there are tickets for different parts of the circuit (the web
site says Curves), but which to choose?

    Any help appreciated.

    Jules

Ring the circuit. Ask them, there's bound to be someone who'll speak
english. Or find someone who speaks spanish.

However, this says it's pretty much sold out- 'completo'[1].

  3. Apart from two areas on the circuit - pelouse and R9 which seem to be
the "cheap seats". Click where it says "aqui" under the ticket options
to bring up the circuit plan if you haven't done so already.

My Spanish reading skills are neglible so it's hard to know if tickets
have been held back for sale "on the gate" or if it is all advance
purchase. Goes to show just how popular these races are in Spain!

AIUI all tickets are valid for all 3 days, which is obviously different to
how we do stuff over here. Also when I did Valencia last year, I bought
in advance and was glad I did. Asides from taking out the uncertainty,
you don't have to queue up and fight your way to the front.

When I go again, I will pre-purchase again.

  5. I'm supposed to be going with some spaniards from our village, and they
haven't mentioned anything. They make a weekend of it with camping,
barbecues and a little drinking. Jerez is only a spit from here though,
so I might just go for one day.

I'll check out the website, but email me at wibbleypants at the yahoo uk
type email addy. I'll have a chat with Eduardo later when I go to return
his tools that I borrowed this morning.

    See you at Jerez maybe.

    Luego.

    Paul.
