    According to the official MotoGP website, former Grand Prix regular Jaroslav
    Hules has died in hospital from injuries sustained in an attempted suicide
    attempt last Saturday. The 30-year-old Czech rider had not raced since his
    final Grand Prix appearance in the 250cc race at Valencia last year and was
    reportedly suffering from severe depression.

    Hules made over 100 Grand Prix appearances in the 125cc and 250cc classes,
    with best finishes of sixth and eighth, respectively.
