Japanese acronyms

    I've just noticed that my Thunderace has the legend "Aero Super Sport"
    plastered down each side of the tail unit.

    It's a blessing they decided not shorten that one

    No, it's no good. I'd noticed the (almost inevitable on a Jap bike)
    cursive script down the side of the tailpiece, but the significance
    had thus far escaped me.

    It will henceforth and forever be the Thunderass to me.
