jail for 130+, whilst already banned

Just saw this story on the ITN news. This is the only internet report

Harsh, but you'd think the TC would have learnt that such speeds on
major trunk roads like the A465 will get you nicked.

I don't think it was the speed that put him inside:

"He led police on a 23-mile high speed chase across the Wiltshire
countryside, racing through villages and tracks and along several
A-roads.

Witnesses say up to 17 police vehicles pursued O'Donovan before the
police helicopter took over the chase.

O'Donovan pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and driving while
disqualified and has been told to expect a prison sentence."

So that's a 23 mile multiple vehicle chase and he was banned from
driving at the time.

It's the general fuckwittery that boggles me. Many here have got on a
bike whilst uninsured, over the limit etc. And we are all cunts for doing it
and would probably hold our hands up if caught. We might be a little more
circumspect about doing it again.

Whilst banned, this chap goes out on a main trunk road on an uninsured vehicle,
triggers an ANPR camera and then rides home, after committing several more
offences.

You'd think after the 2nd time he would've considered the merits of velcro
and riding to somewhere other than home...
