Thus spake Lozzo unto the assembled multitudes:
Er....Merkins "east" over the Atlantic, Lozzo? Exactly whose side are you on?
Or is there something we haven't been told? :)

    Hm?

OK, the scenic route, I suppose. Anyway the direct route would require a
bit more than WD40 around the points...

.... but heck, given the rest of the thread, not arriving at all would
    probably be best.

    Hmm. From that site:

"The number [US trade deficit, currently at $440bn] looks like a lot of
money, but what does it mean for me? Thousands of U.S. layoffs occur
    every week...
....A high percentage of these layoffs are as a direct result of
competition from foreign companies. Eventually, as more and more money
leaves the U.S., our businesses will be powerless to prevent further
    such activity."

Alternative view: basically they've been living beyond their means for
decades and nobody wants to face up to it. The USA is the world's
    biggest debtor economy.

    Regards,

    Simonm.

Yes - I was agreeing with you.

I thought the site was just a trade deficit ticker but the text is
mindblowing. Talk about being in denial...

I made one simple basic mistake. The US made one huge one in getting

mistake was simple, I also maintain that Americans are simple.

he's not down the mall shooting a load of folks.
