Do you think he believes the rat bike will actually keep up with the Gixxer
(or even the 750) - or that the race bike will break down?

 

Er.. but surely the point is you'd need someone with a modern 600 to
challenge you as that was the assertion... none of hte people in this thread
have a modern 600.

If you want to race a GSX-R 1000 I think you might be watching it
disappear...

I'll race you on the DL1000 though if you like - when you win (as you
should[1]) you can still say you beat a 'modern'[2] 1000 bike.



[1] heavy'ish (200kg), 98bhp, hard to get going.
[2] the engine design's almost 10 years old mind you.

 

**** knows. He seems more to be saying that he's a quicker rider than
Champ, which may be the case, I suppose, although from his previous
postings it would seem, err, shall we say somewhat unlikely?

There aren't so many sports 600 riders around atm, perhaps? I'm sure
any of the gixxer thou owners would be more than happy to take you on
if you truly think there'd be any sort of contest.

Well, you blatantly do since you want to "race" a 600 in a straight line.
Have you fettled it or something? Measuring your engine tuning skills
against those of the 600 manufacturers? What exactly are you gagging to
prove?

 

I'm trying to think of a track made entirely from straights with no corners,
aside from disused runways and I can't imagne they take a lot of learning.
