Trike? Isn't that like, 50% too many wheels?
    Try a bit more nagging.

I wish people on trikes wouldn't wave at me.

    It's not a wave - it's a cry for help.

    Ross Winter says...
I've got more mates who ride bikes than solely drive cars. Over the
years I've lost more mates in car accidents than on bikes. Your missus'
    logic is fucked.

Why doesn't she just admit she's afraid of dropping it and looking
stupid. I thought that's the only reason all able-bodied person would
    want a trike.

  8. Of the two' I'd rather have a trike than a dangerous ill-balanced
    contraption like an outfit.

  10. Pah. If an outfit was a new invention it'd never be allowed on the road,
so unbalanced, unpredictable and downright cranky it is.

Outfits are outdated, outmoded, and out of the ark.

Yeah, but you've got an Enfield and you *like* it. You're a well-known
    loony.

There were some links to build it yourself Morgan-a-likes using Guzzi,
    2CV or CX engines.

A few were a bit 'showy' for my tastes but the concept looked interesting.

The complete one I saw Gary at Wessons working on looked well put
together but a bit of a pig to work on.

If you want to ride with Satan on your shoulder then an outfit is the way.

I did ask him if he'd get back in the chair but Old Nick preferred to be
on my shoulder. He's such a fidget.

Now you know very well not to take it seriously!
But but but....I just don't understand the difference in practical
terms between a Caterham and a Trike in terms of image and ownership.
OK one is officially a car, is owning a car frowned upon in some way?
is Trike ownership some sort of badge or club thing? I genuinely look
at them and see something with all the disadvantages of a car without
any of the advantages of a bike.

But they are not cars, they are classed as Tricycles on the log book

Whatever, they're still a bit shit really, unless being destroyed on a

I refer the honorable person to his previous post

Then it's not a fucking Trike is it! The main characteristic of a
Trike is a single front wheel with not a lot of grip or steering
ability. The Grinnal is a powered 3 wheeler.

It's a TRIKE if it says tricycle on the log book and has 3 wheels
