I know it's late notice, But I've been let out for the day & I'm taking
    it.
I'm heading down the Great Ocean Rd to Lorne or Anglesea for lunch. I
live in Hoppers Crossing & will be leaving here at about 9:15-9:30.
If your interested, I'll meet anybody at the Church on the cnr Synnott
st & Duncans rd Werribee, If your coming from Melb, Take the second turnoff
to Hoppers Crossing & follow the Rd for about 4km, You can't miss it, it has
a car dealership on the cnr next to it.
    Hope to see someone.

Oh well Nev, Ya get that, The misses said last night to go for a ride
today, But I didn't know where to go until this morn.
Anyway, Here's a breif ride report.
Got to the meeting place at about 9:15am, hug around until 9:35am then
headed. Ride along the Geelong highway was boring, nothing much happenin,
cruised through Geelong & out the otherside, I know there's a better way,
But I don't know it, Just outside the otherside of Geelong a little bit of
fun happened. I rode past a side Rd & this big orange thing was waiting to
cross into my direction, so I slowed abit to see what it was as it was
cathing up quickly, I turned out to be one of those new KTM Adventures, I
stuck with him for about 1 km before he desided to open her up, I done the
same as we passed a P plater, We got to about 180+ before I backed off, I
wasan't cathing him, But he wasn't getting away either. And he was still
pulling hard when I backed off, I recon he'd do 200+ without much problems.
The weather was abit cool, but nice when the Sun shon through, But damp
in patches to catch out the careless. Almost caught me out on my way back
trying to keep up with an old Jotta that was two up, I desided to let him go
after that, But i'm getting ahead of myself.
Any way, I just enjoyed the ride through to Anglesea, Some nice 100kmh+
flowing Rds with minimal traffic to worry aboutBut after Anglesea, Between
there & Lorne was a case of watch out for the conditions, Because the sun
hadn't or doesn't hit some of the Rd, There was a fair fiew damp or wet
patches to catch people out. What I found annoying was that I had this white
Toyota Torago on my arse most this leg, Yeah I know, I should have just let
him/her past, but I'm not like that, and besides, When the Rd straightened
out, I left them behind, Anyway, I get to Lorne, find a park & get a taosted
ham, cheese & tomamo sandwich & a latte.
After about 1/2hr I decide to head back, Nothing eventful happened worth
mentioning but the Jotta episode mentioned ealier.
Got home abit knackered, First long ride for some time covering so many
Km is such a short time, Almost 300km in total.
Hope everybody else enjoyed there day, I know I did, Can't wait until
    the next time.
