  6. No, you look. I have been among the most tolerant of people here, putting
up with your frequently incontinent and paranoid drivel because of what I
saw as the valuable input of which you are capable. Because of your history
here it didn't come across as a joke, but as a childishly gratuitous and
unprompted swipe calculated to 'noise [people] up'. Perhaps if you'd
managed to add a smiley, a terminally humourless and tin-eared old crotch
such as I would have been able to 'see' the tongue poking naughtily into
    your downy boyish cheek.

You've been acting like an almost-complete arse for a long time. Last week
it seeeeeeemed to stop for 4 or 5 headily exciting days, but perhaps you
were simply away from your computer or more profitably-engaged. Here you
are, back again, refusing to draw a line through the past and chipping away
at people whose contribution has been markedly more positive than your own.
I haven't met either Pip or Loz [your current bugbears] but the light/heat
ratio of their contributions is markedly and consistently higher than yours.
You can do better; I wish you would ...

  10. :)

There's a difference between two blokes in a bar having a
chat/debate/argument/spirited exchange of views/fight and eventually telling
each other to **** off, and bloke 1 throwing open door of said bar and - for
no apparent reason - yelling "**** off" at bloke 2 who was merely having a
quiet glass of wallop while studying form/clouds/page 3/Brownian motion on
the meniscus. This is more particularly true when bloke 1 has volunteered
to go on probation, to test the tolerance/patience/vocabulary of blokes [1]
    3-35,000.

    [1] and blokesses.

  13. Yuh well, conventional wisdom has it that "you gotta be tough to be
stupid"... no, that's "you gotta be stupid to be Cana...", no, wait, I
got it <hand-wave>ooh, ooh, ooh</hand-wave>: "you gotta be tough to be
    Canadian" in the first place.
