The only *really* good one I've played is Mario Kart Wii.

Played Mario & Sonic Olympics today and that was quite good as a four
player game. The snowboarding one that uses the Wii Fit wobble board
looks good, so that'll be on my list for my birthday in a month or so.

That'll keep you in meat for a week! You're welcome to relieve us of
    the rest of them, too!

Is it any good? My DVD has died again, and that's on my short list.

Food, booze, book tokens, a SImpsons T-shirt, and, best of all, a FOAD

  8. Impresed with picture quality, but then my only two discs at the mo are
    Cloverfield & Casino Royale.

BlueRay to 1080p via HDMI shouldn't be bad; whatever its played on.

The Samsung is firmware upgradeable via its own ethernet port and it also
talks to the other Samsung gear I've got.

DVD's appear to be a lot better as well through this player - upscaling I
    believe.

One woe is that no one appears to be getting close to a region hack for it
yet, which means I can't ditch the DVD player yet.

A cracked tooth, on christmas morning.
I can't eat solids and had to miss christmas lunch.
Stuck with soup and ibuprofen for the next few days.

It's a thingy what you put burning logs in to keep warm when it's
getting cooler of an evening and you're having a barbie.

The chest-beating and threat-postures at the neighbours are (apparently)
    optional.

My Zumo 550 was an early Christmas present, otherwise usual books,
    booze and chocs.

Spent most of the day playing with the stocking-filler. I've had
    worse Christmases.

How fast does it start playing the discs (both DVD and BluRay)? My
major bugbear with my current Sony is it takes forever to start
    playing the disc.

I'm after an upscaling DVD but I may as well buy a BluRay player and
    it'd match my Samsung TV.
