....that your liver & kidneys are functioning.

Why? About 20 minutes ago I was stopped at a police road block and asked[1]
    to submit a breath test.

Zero on the scale and sent on my way.

I was wearing a black visor which was not acknowledged. Not even a
    sarcastic remark.

[1] apparently I could have refused, although I'm sure the presence of the
black visor might've come to their attention if I'd done so...

Of course you could've refused, but you'd have been done for "failing to
provide" if you had. Unless you live in a world apart, that is.

Incorrect. The officer specifically stated that the breath test was
    voluntary.

You can only be done for "failing to provide" after being cautioned. As
stated, the officer had grounds to caution me if he wanted to get snotty
    over my illegal visor.

That sounds like a random test, which I thought weren't allowed in the
    UK?

As stated, I was given the option to decline.

The reason for the road block was given as a "public information service".
I was handed a bunch of leaflets before he got the breath analyser out of
    his pocket.

I think, if it had been me I'd have given him a short **** off, and remind
him that the "suss laws" are now long since defunct.
Of course, I wouldn't have been wearing an illegal visor! ;o)

I hope he doesn't notice my pipes and number plate...

You do come from a planet with two suns don't you. I've been pulled
for a malfunctioning brake light, which was working fine, just not at
the moment the Stazi was looking at it.

I don't live in *that* Wales

Do you think I would've got away with the dodgy visor in Clwyd?

You decided to roll over, open your legs and assume the position.

You get to go home without any hassle. The heddlu get to go home knowing
that the "rules" are for small people, not for them. They can do what
the **** they like, and we're all so scared that they can get away with
    it.

    Win-win.

    Nope

I'm assuming Brunstrom's still leaving as promised in July.

Anyone fancy coming up for a celebratory BBQ to celebrate us being Brunstrom
    free state?
