What's your problem with that?
If they were born in Germany or France then they will always be German
or French.
I suppose Alsace is a special case as they moved the borders a few times.
And Des will always be a genuine Glaswegian....

Thing is, "laying pipe" has been slang for shagging, to my knowledge,
for years. "Giving her one up the pipe", of course, refers to anal
sex. I'd not come across (f'naar) the French version until the advent
of the interpornet.
