It's not meant to stick out like that, is it?

I was stood giving the bike a once-over this morning, as I took off my
helmet and gloves, and noticed that one of the brake pad retaining pins
had decided to try to explore life outside of the caliper... =8-O

Fortunately, its still in far enough to retain both pads; I guess the
little R-clip that's meant to hold it in place has split - serves me
right for not using a new one when I cleaned the calipers.

Oh, well... at least I know the pin isn't seized in place. Looks like
I'd better take a stroll to Halfords to get some new clips.

Oh, and I'm trying to take Lozzo's advice and stick some 4-pots on
instead of the horrible 6-pots that come as standard on the ZX-9R E2.
Can anyone confirm if these will fit?

What's the going rate for second-hand calipers?

Oops. At least you saw it before the escape.

Yes, they will bolt straight on.
Up to £70 but those ones have new pads so possibly a bit more.

Oh, arseholes. Crappy work network took too long to sign me in, and I
missed the end of the auction. Bollocks.

    Oh, yes.
Technically, the network itself isn't a problem (apart from the fact
that it goes from Newcastle, down to London, then across the Atlantic
before it hits the Internet), but it's very, very congested. Download
speeds of 7kB/s are about the best you can hope for during the day.
