It's mine!

  1. Occasionally, the idea of having your "perfect bike" is discussed
on here. You know, the bike that that was on your wall as a
spotty oik. The bike that would stop any conversation with mates
if it passed in the street.

And, although I haven't got a MIB#, I coveted the ultimate MIB bike.
A Proper Bike. A big fsck-off engine, with a wheel at each end. Evil
handling, but - let's be honest - who cares? A bike to stir the soul.

    And now I have one.

The sharp eyed among you will notice a couple of problems.
It's not road-worthy. In the slightest.

The lack of exhaust is, frankly, not a problem. With A Proper Bike, an
exhaust is a legal nicety, and the lack allows you to properly
hear what the engine is doing. No, the bigger problem is the
current lack of tank. But these are issues for the oncoming winter.
And some of you might notice the non-straightness of the handlebars.
    Again, a soluble issue.

Oh, and my new digital camera can provide photos for the masses:

  9. You know, I think you're right. I meant, of course,
"lack of thing that most people would assume is the
    tank, but actually isn't".

  10. Are you still in a pikey low bandwidth area then?
