AC has put her breakdown service with the AA which is pants apparently.

I'm toying with the idea of ditching AC on renewal on 2nd June and buying a
sub £100 insurance policy from ANOther and a £59 European breakdown policy
from http://www.quotelinedirect.co.uk/ which is a Mondial product.

Register with https://www.quidco.com/home/ and have a look to see if any of
the cash bribes make a difference. Use Tescocompare to get some benchmark
quotes and then see if one of the contenders is on the Quidco list. If it
is, click through from Quidco to get the cash back. I'd advise using a
different web browser to get the initial quote to the one you use for
Quidco. Sometimes an existing cookie from an insurer can screw up the
    Quidco tracking cookie.

My final decision to be made once the actual renewal notice lands on the
    door mat.

Auntie Carole didn't send me a renewal quote this year for some strange
reason. Luckily I remembered when my insurance runs out so did it
online and she came out cheapest again. My policy went down 28 quid
over what I paid last year too.

Now I have the bother of insuring the CBR and the TS250 with no NCB :-(
cos I forgot about them when doing the Versys.

I'm with Footman James this year. Three bikes fully comp and full European
get you home cover for £152. Mind you the fastest bike is a Transalp, I'm
reasonably old and have many years no claim bonus.

Yeah, strange, I didn't get a renewal either, just a txt message. They
    called me several times too.

Can't you just get them added to the policy?

I'm obviously not old enough for them yet. £30 dearer than C Nash who are
quoting £109 online which swings things in their favour from the separate
policies for insurance & breakdown mentioned above.

One difference I noticed with the FJ breakdown policy - it doesn't include
homestart like CNash. £30 per night for emergency hotel accommodation in
Europe seems unrealistic too (it's per person so might work for 2 people
but hotel rates are priced by room in most European countries so solo
travellers will have to dip into their own pocket)

Just returned to CN after a year in the wilderness

Coming back every other year seems to be a better way of keeping the
    price down

Try swintons get the same policy and get a £50 cashback

That all depends if the current insurers do a multi-bike policy. I'm
    with Aviva this year.

Seriously, you ask some fucking stupid questions.

There are loads of insurers out there, all of which vary depending on
bike, location and rider. It takes but a few minutes to pop your details
into one of the comparison sites and get a multitude of quotes which are
specific to your needs and situation.

Or you can ask on a newsgroup and get a bunch of people saying who they,
with their different combination of bike, location and rider, currently
use. Information which is worth nine tenths of **** all because you're
not them, you don't live where they do and you probably don't have the
    same bike.

So, as I said, get a few quotes online. It's the only sensible
recommendation you're going to get. Fuckwit.

  17. Don't be so immature. You are obviously under the assumption that a full
search has not already been done [1]. Most of the ones quoted don't
    appear on the searches [1].

Thanks for your help[1]. You have had added nothing useful to thread
other than to try and boost your ego [1]. I've been on here too long to
    take any notice.

Thanks again for your valued contribution [1]. Goodnight.

[1] Twat or Dickhead or whatever.
