This "flame war" has gone on for too long, now.. All the "silly" posturing and threatening has come to an end.. Just I have suggested all along, this has been an exercise to eliminate some posters from this group.. While this may have suited the purposes of some, it has not been in the best interests of this newsgroup and has been intended to transform the group from a free and open forum for Bikers to a group with "topic" restrictions and ridicule for those who do not fit the mold. The recent exposure of one of the main actors in this little exercise should ensure that furthur displays of this kind should be discontinued.. Hopefully.. there will be important lessons to be learned for all who have observed and especially those who participated in this disgraceful mess.. Personal attacks on wives, mothers, fathers, families and children are intolerable to anyone with any degree of decency or respect.. Cowardice takes many forms and will ultimately be exposed for what it is.. We are all free to disagree and argue, even call each other a few names.. When we resort to some of the disgusting behavior of attacking family members who have never even posted on a newsgroup, we have crossed a line of behavior that is detestible to anyone with any dignity or self respect.. It can end here .. We can resume the conversational discussions which have been the object of this group for a lot of years.. Motorcycles... Rides... Rallies... Trips... Post it.. If it is on your mind, talk about it.. Post it.. If you see a thread or poster that doesn't appeal to you, click on the next thread.. This is a motorcycle newsgroup... not a sanitized and monitored group that is for anyone's private chat sessions.. Anonymous posters who feel they need an "alias" to post under, feel free, just don't take advantage of your anyonymous posting for personal attacks..
