  1. I love this kind of thing. "I built this house". No you
didn't, you had two thins; an idea and cash. Builders/plumbers/
electricians etc. built it for you...
Still sounds like a bargin to me...

Heh. I looked (briefly) at a ZZR1100 engine. I think that castors on
the outer corners would have been appropriate ;-)
I'll put that to Elly ...
Anything can be made to fit into anything. The difficult bit is
giving it a fair chance of structural integrity - and not fucking up
    the handling too much.

  3. I can imagine the reaction. Don't tell her it was me, okay?
Well, structural integrity is easy; dexion. But not
screwing with the handling - really needs the weight
distro to be the same. What's the difference in engine weights?

I'd be happy to help but as it's a long way - If you make that fit and run
ok I'll contribute a half decent bottle of Scotch to the Pixie Garage. Hold
    me to it!

    Game on, son.

No rush mind, as the seller is a little busy and won't let us collect
    it until next Saturday ...

No, not really. To be honest, it was the dying days of the 'special'
being demonstrably better than a mass market bike. I built it the
year the GSX-R1100 came out, which although it has a rep as
flexi-flyer now was a revelation then. And 2 years earlier the
GPz900R had put to bed the idea that jap bikes couldn't handle.

It *was* a unique owning experience, tho, and I'm glad I did it.
WhenI took it to the Isle of Man, I had to elbow my way thru a crown
of onlookers everytime I parked it. Which was nice, for a while.
