Elly was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
Nice. Wanna buy a nice two-stroke? Thought not...

Seriously, hope you get it back on the road soon.

Now, I do not believe you wanted to do that.

New big-end bolts and shells, drill some pilot holes into the block,
self-tapper a sheet of ally over the hole and seal it with copious
quantities of silicon. Oh, and paint it black.

    Job's a good un.

Bloody hell Elly, that is some impressive damage. Not even I without oil in
the TR1 managed to get it so thoroughly fucked. I bow my head in your
    greatness ;-)

Hope the rat gets well soon.....

    Long live the rat.

Them old con rods seem to be made of tough stuff, there is hardly a
scratch on it from what I can see.

    Oh dear. :^(

Is it just me, or is your website broked too? I'm getting to just after
Spike was sick on the road, then nothing.

It breaks off halfway through a word ("and, coming to the conclusion
that this w") and no piccies...

Seems to be working ok this end as far as I can see. Having said
that, with my current ability to break things ...

I suspect it's me. I've now got other sites playing up. Arse.

Anyway, sorry to hear of Spike's temporary indisposition. I have no
doubt that SomethingEvil(tm) will be appearing from the Pixie Garage in
    the not too distant.

And you know where to find a supply of infinitely adjustable lumps of
    metal, right? ;^)

I have now got it to load. And I am, frankly, slightly disappointed with
    Pip.

Bit of Belzona, couple of 10mm bolts and am 'ammer and that would fix up
    lovely.

You might want to do an oil and filter change whilst you're in there.

I have a bit of alloy to cover the hole, and something like Belzona.
Why waste what is in there? Shameful waste of natural resources, it's
only been in that engine for about 1500 miles.
