    Well well well...

after countless hours, some blood / sweat / tears (literally in some
cases), and a few hundred dollars later I have a running bike again.

The parts (clutch slave cylinder, plug wires) came in this afternoon.
I got all the parts on, bled the clutch and installed the wires.
Synced the throttle bodies (weren't off by much) and adjusted my
    throttle cable a bit.

Bike seems to run great....but since I have been drinking since
5:00ish and I am tired as shit it will have to wait until tomorrow to
    actually ride it.

Probably needs about a 1/2-quart of oil. Did an oil change, but
couldn't fire up the engine to cycle the oil through to see where it's
    at.

Tomorrow....tomorrow.....after I cut the grass. All I can say is that
the engine did sound / feel tight after all the work on it. We'll
see.... Happy Riding and please have a fun, but not totally safe, 4th
    of July weekend!

Yuppers! I took it out for a spin to go get some lunch today.
Everything seemed to be running very well. The clutch doesn't feel
quite as tight as it used to, but I think that is a function of the
new slave cylinder. Shifting was fine and I didn't have any problems.
Yeah, well this white-bread is all up in there.....
