It's worse with fucking war films: all them Jerries charging about in
M24 Chaffees, and M3 half-tracks. In "A bridge too far" the lead M4
Sherman gets hit by a Pak75, and brews up: cut to a smoking,
turretless, M24 rolling off the road.

In the "Battle of Britain", the view from the HE-111 as it flies up
the Thames clearly shows Bowsprit, Topmast, Midship and Knighthead
Point towers on Westferry Road, which weren't built until the sixties.

I agree. I can be watching an old favourite series that I used to find
funny and realise the producers have resorted to canned laughter for the
new ones. I can't watch it after that, it gets on my tits so much.

Oh boy, then you just /have/ to see "Torque".

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0329691/combined

It's beyond "so-shite-its-good" managing to reach the seldom seen
pinnacle of "A Truly Fucking Awful Movie(tm)".

Steal it from the 'net. Steal the DVD to burn it to. If at all
possible, steal the electricity, too, ideally from Joseph Kahn. Just
for Ged's sake don't pay money for it.

Ah, but this was one of those dinky white plastic jobbies, not a big

I didn't think the first one was very good, particularly how the got
around the BBFC's censorship of the final scene.

The BBFC decided that they couldn't have a film which showed criminals
getting away with crime, so they hurriedly rewrote the ending. And I
don't think it's very good, to be honest.

And, if you take away the cult-ness of the film, you may well find
that (like most cult films) it's not actually all that good. Ask
yourself: what's *good* about it? Script? Acting? Direction? Not
really, are they? "They do some funny stuff with some cute cars"
    doesn't cut it for me.

    How quaint.
    I can see your point.
IK*E*WYM, but I still like it. Then again, most of the films I like would
    be considered 'shite'
