It lives! Not.

    The TS250, that is.

    Ho hum.

No life. Battery on charge, atm. [1]

Can't find a plug socket that fits under the frame bracing tube. I
know I've got one in the garage somewhere, though.

The fork seals aren't weeping, they're inconsolable. I have a new
pair; however, the fork tubes are well manky[3].
I may swap the TS185 forks, rather than repair the 250 ones.
(if they fit)[I bet they don't]

At least the Wing now has non-leaky silencer joints, even if the rhs
one was nadgered. The seal fitted into the silencer okay, it fitted
over the exhaust pipe okay, but it steadfastly refused to do both. A
thick wadge of bandage, and firegum appears to have done the trick,
    though. :)

TS185 frame now fully cut up (aren't anglegrinders fun?), and V5 being
    readied for despatch.

Top tip: when your mini-Dremel snags, breaks its cutting disc, and
leaps from your grasp, don't try to catch it. If you want a full
compliment of fingers, that is. Ow.

Garage re-stacked = much more room. Not enough, mind.

Oh, and the KH500 appears to be a member of the CWU.

[1] Shouldn't matter though. The 185 deffo runs without one.[2]
[2] Well it did, twenty years ago.
[3] does that Araldite trick actually work? Well enough for an MOT,
    anyway?

Salad Dodger wibbled like a little girl....
I used Qiksteel to fill the mother of all pits in the forks on my CB and
the same on Elly's Rat. I did the CB ones about a year ago before the
MOT, and they've held up fine. Elly's forks were in worse condition than
mine, with a pit the size of Luxembourg in them. Mr MOT-man deemed both
bikes as safe and they've held oil and air pressure since being rebuilt.

Just make sure you smooth the filling material down so there are no
proud lumps or sharp edges for the seal to catch on.

Yes. Make sure that the pit(s) are clean, free from rust and degreased
(use brake cleaner). Sand down the araldite 'filler' with wet and dry.
