    Woo fucking diddly hooooooooo!

Petrolcan and I [1] spent a good afternoon working on the CB and she is now
    purring like the proverbial kitten.
After I rebuilt the carbs, refitted them, replaced the battery and got him
to give it a quick once over to check the handiwork.
Hook the battery to the golf for power, gets the easystart out and gives it
a coupla squirts in the air box and she started to cough a little, which was
a fucking lot more than it had been doing previously!

Mined ewe, as I was thinking about the reasons why it wouldn't actually fire
into life I started with the simplest thing first, i.e. petrol.
"Is it getting into the carbs?" I was asking myself as I looked at my feet
noticing the fecking petrol tank sat there!! Doh!

We couldn't believe we hadn't noticed, therefore I'd like to apply by proxy
    for a YTC# for petrolcan:) [2]

Once the tank was all connected etc, she fired up lovely :)
Dead chuffed I am, tightened the chain up too which is better.
All I gotta do now is, change the engine oil, get some chain oil, new air
and oil filter and rebuild the front disc callipers and she'll be ready for
an mot ! battery's even holding it's charge!

[1] Well I did pretty much all the work, but on saying that, if I didn't id
never learn about what and how to do it would I?
[2] I don't deserve one cos Im allowed one mistake being new to this surely.
    [3]
[3] Its prolly not good enough grounds anyway [4]
[4] but it certainly was funny

There is no way that is a YTC worthy event. You might qualify for a
    PM number mind :)

Do the callipers first, now that it's going you have to make sure
    that it stops.

    Feels good doesn't it.
The number of times I've stood there looking at a lump of metal on the
bench thinking 'how the **** am I going to get this working' then
several hours later Brrrrmmmm. Excellent feeling.

Usually with me it's 'why the **** am I going to get this working'
followed a bit later by ring, ding, ding.
