Time spent re-wiring the Norton has proved reasonable fruitful. The
electrics work. Plenty of stuff still to do, but it's a start.

The Forgotten Era project Morini is now in "it's life Jim.." mode.
Running, but the swapping around (ace bars etc.) has completely
unsettled the carb balance. Got it reasonably close the eye and finger
method [1], but I am hoping the good old Morgan mercury manometer still
works - particularly that I can find the inlet stub vacuum bleed
adapters. Healthy spark with a mix of old bits and new plugs, leads and
caps. Sounds great on the 2 -1, but may be even better if I can get a
new state of the art ignition pickup.

[1] peer at one slide while gently feeling the other. Carbs facing
opposite directions can be a pain at times.

Only when accidentally touching the "hot" end of the HT leads when
    setting the points.

What are these points to which you refer? It's Forgotten Era not
    Jurassic.
