Appears to occansionally do ok in the WSB with Mr Walker on board but
I think it's too new and hasn't got enough factory backing to be
serious competition for the GSXR yet.

Two answers spring to mind (on the road)...

Bike felt much more planted on the road. No F**king about modifing or
    changing suspension etc...
Jap straight fours are boring boring boring and repetitive and the japs
    never finish anything off...

    and also

The honda 1000 was the worst. Definatly nowt below 7 grand. Saying that
the redline on the Aprilia (2004 model) is about 11,500 which to me
seems very high. Tend to find I short change the RSVR about 5 grand.

Only V twin at Lemans 24hrs was the Aprilia RSVR. Looked quite good and
you could not miss it for the sound...

No idea what I will get next but I have noticed in the race to get more
power the stroke is getting shorter the max revs are going up. Giving
less power down low... (more up top but less down low)

Or youn could say. If the same torque is obtained at twice the revs you
instantly have twice the horse power. Bit of a bastard for the low end
but the easiest way of increasing horse power...

I can't be arsed to work hard today. weather to nice...

I know what you mean. It didn't help yesterday that I'd had to leave
the house at 5:30 to catch the first Eurostar out. Back home at 10pm.

but not a single solitary question.

Attributions and relevancy dear boy, lets have some eh?

You can however **** off and read the ukrm ffaq and the ukrm cbt and
take note of what it says about posting styles and stuff and post stuff
    proper when you come back.

That wasn't a bollocking that was a telling. You get the bollocking if
    you won't be told.

The usual question that gets asked round here is Why is he?

    Not read the ffaq.

The 128bhp's for the Senna which is a 750, not a thou.

Gixer thous used to leave my ZX-9R behind no matter how hard I tried to
keep up, so I bought a Gixer Thou.

They're slower than 1991 CBR600s with carb problems, well the one
trying to chase me down on Sunday was. I think it was being ridden by a
    talentless wanker though.

Was bored and had an hour to kill at lunch so I bought the latest Superbike
mag. They put the standard MV1000 against the Jap 1000s and, on their dyno
it was producing 163, compared to 159 for the ZX and GSXR, which could allow
for your theory on the Tamburini or Corse versions being correct.

That said their figures later on the artclie (0-60/100/180 times, braking
times & distances, top speeds etc) are all transposed/fucked up so they
could be lying in the dyno section too.

And they concluded that the MV was 5th out of 5 when they looked at it as an
overall package (in a not very scientific way as the numbers don't add up on
    that one either...).

Never *ever* try to reproduce figures from memory!

    R1 : 155.9bhp
    GSXR: 158.1
    ZX10: 155.9
    CBR1000: 152.6
    MVF4: 161.4

So my earlier post was close, but not quite right...
