Is UKRM a curse?

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Whinging Courier, Feb 16, 2004.

  1. Reading all this joviality about bans and speeding and the like has got
    me thinking...

Since I got some shiny disco-ball stickers from Cane, and put them on my
lid, I had no end of trouble, I even got nine points in the space of six
months since putting the stickers on.

I also had a bandit, now owned by Adie. That was the Bandit I got banned
on while wearing a helmet with a UKRM sticker on it...

Maybe if you'd not worn a helmet you'd have been ok.

    It's a consideration...

What's the fine / penalty for getting caught without a helmet?

Hehe. I was thinking more of riding round town. I'm having trouble
imagining speeding on the hard shoulder without a lid on :)

Yes it would. Just think, if I was hurtling down the hard shoulder at
100mph and a bit of debris got stuck in my tyre and caused a blow out.

If you're Laden you'll be fine - they won't find you.
